These terms and conditions govern the use of this site, which is owned and operated by managed by Jessica Chabot. By using this site, you signify that you have read and understood and agree to abide by them at all times.

Intellectual property notice

The works, illustrations and all content published on this site are the exclusive property of Jessica Chabot. The rights remain the property of Jessica Chabot even after purchase. This includes original works, prints, images, texts, logos, downloadable files and everything that contributes to the composition of this site. The purchase of a product, original or otherwise, does not grant the customer permission to put it in digital format (NFT), print it, reproduce it or distribute it, in any form whatsoever, for profit or for personal use. Please note that publishing images of purchased products on social networks does not violate this clause.

Shipping policy

Prints are made in the studio by a professional Art-Prints printer and are created on request. The team ensures that orders are packaged to the highest quality and shipped as quickly as possible.

Normal shipping time is between 5 and 10 days. However, delays may occur during periods of higher sales.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and correct postal address when paying for the order, and for notifying us of any change of address, via the contact area, within 24 hours of purchase in order to guarantee redirection. Once the order has been shipped, it is no longer possible to make changes. Jessica Chabot is not responsible for undelivered packages due to incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer.

Disclaimer

Jessica Chabot is not responsible for the condition of purchased products once they are in the buyer's possession. No refund, exchange, replacement or compensation, by any means whatsoever, will be made for damage to products that have been mishandled by customers. For example: fingerprint smudges on the white border, tearing of art prints, damage to works of art, etc.

It is the customer's responsibility to read the product description carefully before purchase. All prints are delivered with borders that are included in the size indicated. Product photographs are made to represent the original colors as faithfully as possible. However, calibrations often vary from one device to another. It is therefore recommended that you view products from different devices (desktop, cell phone, tablet, etc.) before purchasing.

As indicated by the Office de la protection du consommateur, compensation for damage to products is provided for products damaged during delivery by the postal services or products that were defective at the time of shipment. The team ensures that each product is thoroughly inspected several times before passing quality control for shipment. This ensures that only products in perfect condition are packed.

Duties and taxes

The team is located in Quebec, Canada and is not responsible for import charges on purchased products. This includes, but is not limited to, the commissioning of a custom part, originals and merchandise. Applicable taxes and duties are not included in the case total. These are determined by the customs agency of the destination country. Some countries charge import taxes, while others do not. The customs agency will inform the customer by mail, telephone or e-mail of the payment of these charges, so that the shipment can be delivered correctly.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay all duties, value-added taxes or similar charges. Otherwise, the order will be returned to sender. In this case, Jessica Chabot will refund the cost of the purchase (less shipping costs to your country), provided the product is in its original condition. Products sold are declared at purchase value for export and under no circumstances will documents be falsified.

Returns and refunds

Jessica Chabot has a 14-day return policy on eligible products with proof of purchase. To qualify for a return, the product must be unused and in the same condition in which the customer received it. It must also be in its original packaging. No returns, refunds or exchanges are possible for change of mind. Only defective products or products not covered by the consumer warranty will be refunded by Jessica Chabot. Also, only regular-priced items can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items are not refundable.

Art-Prints (prints) - Variable eligibility:

Prints are extremely delicate. Our team's pre-shipment quality control and sanitary standards are very strict, since most of these products cannot be resold after a return. Therefore, only prints that have not been handled by the customer and are in their original packaging can be returned. If returned prints are found to be unsuitable upon inspection for any reason, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Original artwork - Not eligible:

All purchases of original artwork are final, as they come with a special, personalized gift for you. A generous fee is paid to ship them with their original stretchers directly to your door by courier, or by delivery for those within a 1.5-hour drive.
